What is The Lion King Musical about?

The Lion King is a tale of love, friendship, and hope. The story is about Mufasa, the king of the pride lands. Mufasa has a son named Simba, who is supposed to take over the throne after him.

Mufasa’s brother plots to kill Mufasa and his son Simba but only succeeds in ousting Mufasa from office.

Through his adventures in the pride lands, Simba forms valuable relationships with Timon and Pumbaa, who help him become a strong and brave jungle leader. His growing bravery helps him face his evil uncle.

Eventually, Simba restores order to the troubled kingdom.
